New Today: Pocket Templates Redo

I use these pocket templates so much, that I thought I would go ahead and offer an updated version. After using them for years, I've tweaked them with a few things and thought I would offer the updated version to you as well. The main change is that the templates now come with photo frames included. These are saved in Photoshop as a "smart layer", so if you double click on the frame layer, it will open in a new canvas and you can add your photo and journaling. I made the journaling more noticeable so that I would remember to add it! So if you need help remembering to add a caption to your photo, these templates should help!

I use these templates every week for my own weekly documenting,
so you can browse my gallery for lots of ideas on how I use them.

It probably only works in Photoshop :(

Thank you for responding so quickly, Marisa! Actually, I'm using PSE 2019. I'm wondering I didn't pay attention and the newer templates can only be used in the full Photoshop program - ?
I will take a look at the older versions that you provide though. Thank you for the pointers. :)

@Kelly: Unfortunately your version of Photoshop is probably too old, so that's why it's not working. Hi Marisa! These are really cute templates (and I love your idea to use them for weekly documenting). However, when I double click on the frame layer, I still don't see how to edit the text or add the photo. I was wondering if you have a youtube for using them - ? /Kelly

Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!

I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!

I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!

If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.
