My Dad was certainly opinionated about how things should be. When I was younger, I saw this as being hard and unloving. Little did I know. After his triple bypass, something happened... like opening up his chest cavity opened up his metaphysical heart too. He explained to me that the challenges he presented me with were so that I would be perfectly fine when the day came that he would no longer be with me. Our relationship as a whole changed. He hasn't been physically on this earth with me for seven years now, but in truth, he's with me every day. *someone pass the tissues please*
