Another December Daily Project layout (4th day) documenting our advent calendar tradition. My mother-in-law cross-stitched the advent calendar years ago. There is a ring each day that holds a rolled up clue. The kids come down every morning to read the clue and find their daily advent goodie.

Thanks, Teddy! Neither were mine growing up but my husband's family had quite a few when he was a kid that we've continued. So nice to have such traditions. I know our kids will pass them on someday, too.

Thanks, Shannon! Yes, I wish I could get into cross-stitch but it's just one of those things that never stayed with me. My mother-in-law made one for each of her kids and their families. Such a nice family tradition she passed on. :)
